Oleksandr Usyk survived a major moment of controversy in round five of his win over Daniel Dubois on Saturday night.

Boxing fans were divided in their opinions as the British challenger floored the Ukrainian heavyweight world champion with a huge punch to his belt line, only for it to be ruled a low blow by referee Luis Pabon.

Dubois' punch landed right on the top of Usyk's shorts.

The Ukrainian was adamant that the shot was a low blow and the referee agreed.

He spent a good few minutes sat on the canvas as he was given time to recover, but struggled to make it back to his feet.

Eventually, Usyk did so and the fight continued.
